all original highly desirable late 19th century antique american industrial adjustable height draftsman stool designed and fabricated by the eugene dietzgen company, chicago, il. the fully refurbished stool is comprised largely of birch wood with a lightly stained finish. the four-legged base with flared feet contains a bent wood footrest supported brackets fastened to each leg. the circular-shaped revolving seat is tightly affixed to a solid threaded steel spindle that rotates with ease. the perforated "wheel" locks the seat to the desired height. great overall condition. stool height is adjustable and measures 34 inches in photo, while the seat diameter measures 14 inches.
