hard to find early 20th century yale and towne "meridian" pattern ornamental brass doorknobs with matching backplates

large lot of original salvaged chicago early 20th century ornamental wrought brass "meridian" pattern doorknobs and backplates manufactured by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the oval-shaped doorknobs and backplates are comprised of yellow brass with nicely aged surface patina. the matching doorknobs and backplates or escutcheons were salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1900-10. priced for the lot. measure 8 1/4 x 2 3/8 inches.
