hard to find early 20th century copper-plated "lyhne" adjustable table lamp with revolving hinged reflector

fully functional american industrial pressed and folded iron and brass "lyhne" portable desk or table lamp manufactured by the beers sales co., bridgeport, ct. originally designed and patented by anker s. lyhne in 1911. the c. 1911-17 portable lamp contains a weighted cast iron base with deeply embossed underside lettering. the rotating arm joint retains the original dial handle. the lamp contains pressed and folded rolled rim parabola-shaped reflector with rotating hinged reflector. the original paddle switch socket has been rewired with period appropriate braided cotton cloth cord (shown). excellent working condition. measures 6 3/4 x 17 inches. copper-plated finish largely intact.
