original and intact early 20th century antique american industrial salvaged chicago public school laboratory desk or workbench designed and fabricated by the kewaunee mfg. co., adrian, mi. the heavy solid slate tabletop is intact with wear consistent with age. the four-legged base is fastened together with bolts against the recessed maple or birch wood apron. the school lab table is stucturally sound and sturdy. only one available.
