three original and intact early 20th century antique american research laboratory bench retort stands salvaged from the university of chicago, department of chemistry. the 1920's retort stands are comprised of both steel and cast iron brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the weighted bases and rods are structurally sound and stable. the cast iron rings with brackets can be adjusted and/or removed altogether. priced for the lot of three. the laboratory stands were fabricated by fisher scientific, chicago, ills.
