four matching original unrestored c. 1900's antique american interior residential stamped metal "como" pattern doorknob backplates designed and manufactured by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. passage door backplates are comprised of wrought steel with a partially intact copper-plated finish. each wrought steel thimble is tightly affixed to the backside of the escutcheon. two sets available. salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1905. measures 7.5 x 2.5".
