all original and completely intact c. 1920's american industrial hubbell "no. 3193" double outlet incandescent lamp socket designed and fabricated by harvey hubbell inc., bridgeport, ct. the two-part socket shell is comprised of yellow brass with mostly uniform surface patina. the bottom portion of the shell is threaded for standard uno shade fitters or holders. the side outlet is comprised of black composition and configured for parallel or tandem cap or plug blades. the socket was designed for use as a drop light and combination outlet for a small benchtop device or machine. the original beaded pull-chain with handsome acorn finial is completely intact.
