original antique american eastlake style decorative cast brass "oriental" pattern interior residential window sash lock designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the two-piece sash lock is comprised of cast brass with black enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. fully functional. original keeper. salvaged from the extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. measures approximately 2 1/4 x 2 inches.
