all original and fully functional american depression era exterminator service advertising neon sign fabricated by or for neon products inc., lima, oh. the fully functional encased storefront sign features an exceptionally unique reverse painted glass panel with bug specimen border. the bright white neon tubing is concealed behind the glass, along the outer edges. when illuminated, the bugs come to life. the central panel is comprised of sheet metal with applied enameled finish in the form of distinctive white lettering against a red background. the mitered joint edges are comprised of aluminum, fastened to a baked black painted steel body or case housing the transformer. excellent working condition. salvaged from the now-defunct "bob's" exterminator service, located in southern indiana. measures 18 1/4 x 15 1/4 inches. measures 7 inches deep.
