salvaged chicago c. 1930's adjustable height american industrial angled steel factory stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool company, plainwell, mi. the diminutive angled steel stool is comprised of multiple stretchers or braces with riveted joints. the steel base is both structurally sound and rigid in construction. the solid maple wood seat is original to the stool. the angle steel stool company was founded in 1910 by charles pipp and john linsey. originally located in otsego, mi., the owners chose to move their busniess to plainwell, mich., in 1922. the industrial furniture fabricator operated well into the 20th century.
