original and completely intact late 1930's american machine age fully adjustable table or desk lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the telescoping desk or table reading lamp retains the original "normandy bronze" finish over brass. the two-tone weighted base is accentuated with "speed rings." the cylindrical-shaped light bulb reflector is original and intact. the telescoping arm pivots as well as extends. the fixture has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord. great overall condition.
