exceptional early 1870's all original oversized residential vestibule arch top entrance doors with built up molding and inverted "tear drop" glass panels

set of rare and highly sought after early 1870's post-fire chicago residential vestibule arch top doors with distinctive inverted "tear drop" glass panes. the doors were likely fabricated by the palmer, fuller, & company, chicago, ills. the salvaged chicago entrance doors are made of pine with a partial allover crazed paint finish. the wavy glass panes are original to the doors. the elaborate molding surrounding the raised panels and/or panes of glass is original and intact. the doors were salvaged from a downtown chicago italianate residence likely erected around 1872. the original lockset was replaced long ago. the long and narrow oversized flush-mount door bolts remain intact. priced for the set.
