very robust and well-constructed early 20th century vintage american industrial foundry grinding machine pedestal base likely possibly fabricated by the j. g. blount co., everett, mass. the heavy cast iron machine base has a flared floor plate with pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the flat square-shaped platform once supported the grinding machine. makes for an ideal table base, plant stand, etc. thoroughly refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 16 x 12 x 32 inches.
