early 20th century salvaged chicago three-tier cast iron freestanding factory pipe "bambach" storage rack

unique and hard to find early american industrial freestanding factory pipe stock storage rack designed and fabricated by the e.a. bambach mfg. co., chicago, il. the foundry pipe rack is double-sided with three graduating tiers for holding any and all kind of pipe. the old painted cast iron rack system would consist of multiple brackets attached with solid steel rod stretchers. the single tree-like bracket was salvaged from a chicago factory in operation from 1896-1919. the bracket is free from breaks or cracks. measures 19 x 1.5 x 39.5 inches.
