original early 20th century adjustable faries brass gooseneck table lamp with black enameled stamped metal pivoting shade or reflector. the table lamp was designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the single light lamp contains a turn key or paddle socket that has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord. the nicely aged patina is mostly uniform throughout.
