early 20th century original and intact mirrored-panel salvaged chicago metal conical reflector with rolled rim

early 20th century american industrial enameled metal factory pendant incandescent reflector or lamp-shade likely designed by john a carlstedt, assignor to george frink spencer of newark, new jersey. the pressed and folded steel conical shade retains the original segmented or sectional interior silver-plated glass panels mounted securely in place. the cone-shaped sheet steel outer shell contains a nicely worn and weathered green paint finish (original to the shade). the vintage industrial pendant shade was likely manufactured by i.p. frink inc., new york city, ny., founded in 1857. the original stamped brass plaque was removed long ago.
