original c. 1900's antique american bower-barff plated cast iron doorknobs designed and fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., new britain, ct. the hardware consists of a "salem" pattern doorknob on one end and an unornamented iron doorknob on the other. original steel spindle. salvaged from a chicago commercial building interior utility door. the original "rust proof" plating remains largely intact. priced for the set.
