c. 1900-10 original antique american highly detailed ornamental cast brass "marquise" pattern interior residential oval-shaped passage size doorknob designed and fabricated by the norwalk lock company, norwalk, conn. the french renaissance style pointed end doorknob contains a mostly uniform surface finish. the doorknob was salvaged from a milwaukee "foursquare" style residence demolished earlier this year. a whole "suite" of marquise pattern hard was recovered from this home prior to demolition. see other listings. measures approximately 1 1/2 x 3 inches.
