single all original and intact c. 1909 interior residential vestibule flush mount oversized ceiling fixture likely fabricated by r. williamson & co., chicago, ills. the distinctive fixture features a "pan" style wrought brass shade fitter or medallion with an original, centrally located deeply grooved frosted glass globe free from cracks. the antique american fixture contains a single socket for illumination. the brass medallion was painted an antique gold enameled finish long ago, possibly shortly after installation. the single electric light fixture was salvaged from a chicago two-story residence constructed in 1909. measures 8 1/2 inches high x 18 1/2 inches in diameter.
