early 20th century antique american chicago area fraternal lodge solid golden oak wood oddfellow hall podium with intact hand-painted polychromatic symbols

original and intact custom-built oversized four-sided interior fraternal lodge podium comprised of quartered or "tiger stripe" oak wood. the early 20th century podium contains an outswept beveled edge base or plinth with mitered corners. the podium features four slightly recessed panels depicting vibrantly colored hand-painted masonic symbolism. the front panel depicted in the image features the "all-seeing" eye with sun rays and heart. the unsigned podium was salvaged from a lodge located within the chicago area. the original varnished finish remains in great shape, with light crazing and surface wear consistent with age. measures approximately 36 x 33 x 24 inches.
