c. 1900's original and intact american antique decorative cast iron residential fireplace surround fabricated by the peerless mfg. co., louisville, ky. the interior iron surround contains an allover dimpled texture finish with egg & dart border running vertically and horizontally along the outer edges. uniform black enameled finish intact. original summer cover removed long ago. measures 29 x 30 inches.
