refinished american depression era two-tier stationary workbench salvaged from a sheet metal furniture fabrication factory located on the west side of chicago. the long and narrow multi-purpose table was likely custom-built in the factory's machine shop, using heavy gauge angled steel with welded joints. the nicely worn and weathered solid cherry wood boards are bolted firmly to the angled metal frame. the boards have been sanded and sealed. the stationary four-legged base has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. very stable and structurally sound. great overall condition. 36 inches x 14 1/4 inches x 31 inches.
