matching lot of 17 late 19th century american victorian era fireplace majolica glazed tiles with an unusual mosaic pattern accentuated with elaborate scrolls. the antique american tile set contains a lightly colored, mottled blue and brown glaze with allover crazing. the ceramic tiles were fabrciated by the american encaustic tile co. of zanesville, oh. each tiles measures 6 x 6 inches. priced for the lot.
