completely intact 19th century highly desirable ornamental cast brass eastlake style "ceylon" pattern interior residential pocket door hardware with matching mortise locks

original and intact "ceylon" pattern interior residential double sliding or pocket door hardware designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co, new britain, ct. the set includes four matching cast bronze escutcheons and two mortise locks. the cast brass hardware has been highly polished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the pocket door set was salvaged from a chicago two-flat undergoing demolition. dates to the late 1880's-1980's. the "ceylon" eastlake style pattern was very popular and highly desirable for residential hardware treatments. escutcheons measure 4 5/8 x 2 inches. mortises measure 7 1/2 x 1 x 3 1/2 inches.
