early 1930's american vintage industrial medium-sized "porcelain-silveray" pressed heavy gauge steel exterior sign letter removed from from an old chicago service station undergoing demolition. the brightly colored cherry red porcelain enameled letter sign was fabricated by the federal electric company, chicago, il. the deeply embossed and beveled edge single letter remains in great overall condition, considering age. the single-sided exterior letter mounts flush against the wall. limited letters available. measures 12 x 15 inches.
