original antique american medical four-legged tubular steel hospital asylum bedside chair designed and fabricated by the w.d. allison mfg. co., indianapolis, ind. the gracefully designed hospital "murdock" stationary chair is comprised of heavy gauge steel with all-welded joints. the hospital chair contains a uniform metallic gray enameled finish. the chair is both stable and structurally sound. seat height measures 18 inches.
