original lightweight galvanized steel antique american depression era industrial portable trash can designed and manufactured by the standard can corp., pittsburgh, pa. the galvanized steel exterior contains traces of old cherry red paint, that may be original to the garbage can. the bent solid steel drop handle is original and intact. the rolled rim lid contains a centrally located stationary handle. the bottom of the can is free from excessive wear and surface rust and holes. measures 12 3/8 in diameter x 17 inches high.
