original early 20th century antique american medical four-legged tubular steel adjustable cook county hospital examination room table designed and fabricated by the william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the adjustable table remains in great overall condition. the pressed and folded steel frame and table have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the desired angle of the back and/or leg rest can be achieved through the use of the notches designed to hold the panel in position. dates to the early 1920's.
