original early 20th century antique american medical mobile hospital operating room supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the max wocher & sons company, cincinnati, oh. the cabinet is supported by four matching fanciful cast iron cabriole style legs with original and fully functional steel swivel casters. the fully enclosed (and lockable) cabinet is made of cold-rolled furniture sheet steel. the interior and exterior have a bare metal finish, sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the hinged cabinet door retains the original surface mount diminutive hinges and knob pull. the clear glass inset is original and free from damage. the cabinet interior contains two removable plate glass shelves used to store sterile dressings and bottled solutions. the undershelf is mounted securely to each of the legs. salvaged from the old cook county hospital, chicago, il. measures approximately 20 3/4 x 17 x 53 inches.
