well-maintained early 20th century all original antique american solidly-constructed birch wood double-panel apartment passage door likely fabricated by the foster & munger company, chicago, ills. the "stock" door retains the original varnished finish. the door contains a stamped escutcheons and pressed glass doorknobs. the hardware has a nicely aged patina throughout. the loose pin ball finial door hinges (fabricated by stanley hardware) are fully functional with pin and leaves intact. the interior salvaged chicago door was removed from a chicago apartment complex located near wrigley field. several birch doors in multiple configurations were salvaged from the apartment building shortly before demolition.
