early 20th century antique american industrial low-lying fanciful cast iron "eclipse" steam and/or water boiler "reversible" stand with design and fabrication attributed to the kingsford foundry & machine works, oswego, ny. the three-legged stationary base or stand is comprised of interlocking cast iron components bolted together. the newly added solid cherry wood tabletop is rectangular in shape, with a sanded and sealed finish. the diminutive cast iron base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the repurposed display stand can be used in a variety of settings. base diameter measures 13 inches, seat height measures 15 1/2 inches, seat diameter measures 14 1/4 inches.
