early 20th century ornamental cast iron showroom display cabinet replacement leg salvaged from an old shoe factory showroom located on the far south side of chicago. the tapered and turned iron leg or support is accentuated with embossed acanthus leaves wrapped around each of the four corners. the leg was fabricated by the garden city plating & mfg. co., chicago, il. contains a uniform metallic bronze enameled finish. measures 3 x 3 x 6 inch
