completely refinished and fully functional antique american industrial late 19th century adjustable height draftsman factory office stool fabricated by the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago, il. the sturdy four-legged refinished solid birch stationary base contains multiple turned dowels or stretchers for added strength and stability. the outswept turned wood legs remain structurally sound and sturdy. the stool contains a solid steel spindle affixed tightly to the maple wood swivel seat. the top portion of the legs are fastened to the brushed metal cast iron housing containing the threaded spindle. measures 16 x 16 and ranges in height from 33-38 inches.
