original 19th century antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential passage size doorknob fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the dome-shaped doorknob features a pleasing designed highlighted with black enameled inlay. surface wear consistent with age. mostly uniform patina. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
