single highly desirable all original and intact american industrial cast bronze and steel flexible gooseneck table task lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, ills. the robust weighted base table lamp was formerly used for many years at chicago city hall. the office desk lamp retains the original patianted finish with surface wear consistent with age. the coiled gooseneck arm is rigid and retains it's form when adjusted. the rolled rim parabolic shade with patented socket fitter remains in great shape. the hubbell key socket has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth lamp cord.
