amazingly intact 19th century salvaged chicago antique american victorian era black enameled fireplace summer cover designed and fabricated by or for henry dibblee & co., chicago, il. the summer cover features fanciful filigree surrounding a centrally located circular-shaped vent cover. the fireplace summer cover is comprised of ornamented cast iron. salvaged from a chicago italianate style residence dating to 1873-1875.
