19th century antique american ornamental wrought iron residential fence gate from the 1890s

original 1890s "stock pattern" ornamental wrought iron chicago fence gate (one of three) designed and fabricated by f.p. smith & iron works, chicago, ills. the black enameled gate was salvaged from a south side chicago residence undergoing demolition. the cast iron newel posts are listed individually. the victorian-era gate is structurally sound and stable. 38 inches long, 38 1/2 inches tall (from tallest point) and 29 1/2 inches tall (from shortest point).
