finely crafted 19th century original and intact american victorian era ornamental wrought iron exterior residential window guard attributed to vierling, mcdowell & co., chicago, il. the welded and/or riveted joint iron panel contains a mostly uniform black enameled finish. very elegant pattern accentuated with a multitude of c-scrolls. salvaged from a chicago residence built between 1879-83. measures 40 x 30 inches. only one available.
