original 19th century antique american salvaged chicago golden oak wood pier mirror or console designed and fabricated by charles lorenzen and company, chicago, ills. the slightly smaller-sized quartered oak residential console features two opposed columns with decorative capitals and header accentuated with dentil work. the bottom ledge is surrounded by lightly recessed panels. the pier mirror retains the original finish dating to the late 19th century. the original mirror was removed long ago.
