refinished american industrial reinforced cast iron knitting mill "landis welderon model c" workstation fabricated by the landis machine co., st. louis, mo. the multi-tiered heating rack topped with articulating arm task lamps was removed long ago. the unusual base is flared and curvaceous, forming a freestanding tripod with pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the original pull-out drawer with chrome plated sunken center knob pulls is original and intact. the brass manufacturer plaque is riveted tightly against the underside of the steel deck with raised edges. the versatile workstation measures 18 1/2 x 20 x 36 inches.
