original and intact late 19th century three-legged antique american victorian era stationary saloon and/or card table base designed and fabricated by or for the american saloon fixture co., chicago, il. the refinished cast iron table base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer to prevent the formation of surface rust. the ornamented claw feet contain pre-drilled holes for the addition of casters or anchoring against the floor. contains perforated diamond-shaped openings above the ring measures 20 x 21 x 27 inches.
