remarkable oversized ornamental cast bronze oval-shaped "louvre" pattern entrance door chicago two flat doorknob featuring two unique intersecting fluted torches suspended by chain. detailed floral motifs and/or leafage surround the two centrally located torches. a outer border of the doorknob consists of a neoclassical bead and reel design motif. the entrance size doorknob was fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. only one doorknob available in this pattern. measures 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
