hard to find and highly sought after early porcelain enameled advertising in the form of a single-sided richly colored cobalt blue porcelain enameled "auto supplies" store sign designed and fabricated by the burdick enamel sign co., chicago, ills. the ornate sign with unique profile or shape appears to have been shot multiple times on the left side. the bold white lettering is still largely intact and legible. the single-sided sign is comprised of heavy gauge cold-rolled steel. the sign was discovered in the basement of an old automobile showroom along "motor row" in downtown chicago.
