unusually-shaped and distinctive looking c.. 1930's american industrial all-welded tubular steel steel mill factory cart with newly added tabletop

impressive c. 1930's vintage american industrial low-lying mobile supply cart attributed to the nutting truck company, fairbult, mn. the visually distinctive cart is comprised of all-welded heavy gauge tubular and angled steel. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the primary spoked cast iron stationary casters remain in excellent working condition. the opposed bassick swivel casters are original and intact. the newly added table top consists of old growth douglas fir wood recovered from a late 19th century factory building undergoing demolition. three matching carts available. priced individually. this type of cart was originally used to shuttle steel storage containers inset within the tubular framing. salvaged from o.k. champion factory, hammond, ind. measures 50 x 26 1/4 x 18 inches.
