early 1920's american vintage industrial freestanding cold-rolled pressed and folded steel hospital locker designed and fabricated by the federal steel fixture company, chicago, il. the oversized locker retains the original olive green baked enameled finish. surface wear evident. the hinged door with louvered vents opens and closes with ease. original cast brass plaque with lightly incised number riveted tightly in place. the cast iron handle and/or latch mechanism is fully functional. two matching units are available. measures 20 x 23 x 82 inches.
