stunning early 20th century american craftsman style table or desk lamp featuring an impressive variegated leaded art glass lamp shade consisting of highly segmented and brightly colored slag glass. the signed telescoping base is comprised of bronze with the original patinated finish intact. the heat cap and finial may or may not be original to the fixture. the exact fabricator of the oversized art glass shade is not known. the brilliantly colored shade remains in great overall condition, considering age. the three-cluster pull-chain sockets have a metallic bronze finish. the lamp has been rewired with period appropriate brown cloth lamp cord. the lamp base was fabricated by the bradley & hubbard manufacturing co., meriden, conn.
