unusual 19th century antique american ornamental figural 6 x 6 inch tile with cherub hunting scene

unusual 19th century richly colored mottled victorian fireplace 6 x 6 inch tile featuring two cheub figures with "fresh kill" tied against a pole. the unique hunting scene tile was executed by the american encaustic tile company. an original 3 x 6 inch matching floral tile remains affixed to the figural tile, but can be easily removed. any and all mortar has been carefullly removed from the backside. surface crazing evident.
