early 20th century richly colored polychromed salvaged chicago ornamental terra cotta panel and surround fabricated by the midland terr cotta company, chicago, ills. the oversized, multi-part terra cotta assembly was salvaged from an early 20th century chicago commerical building undergoing demolition. the centrally located panels feature clusters of fruit and surrounding ribbons. the polychromed spray-glazed or "pulsichrome" finish exhibits allover crazing consistent with age. priced for the assembly. lightly incised wicklund marks evident.
