late 1930's custom-built antique american industrial heavy gauge angled steel stationary oily rag wash tank salvaged from the roseland machine product co. factory, dolton, il. the spacious and deeply recessed single compartment contains a uniform black enameled finish. the sides contain two welded joint handles for transport purposes. the cross-bracing provides added support and stability. the wash tank has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a cleat coat lacquer. measures 31 3/4 x 26 x 18 1/2 inches.
