unique custom-built late 1930's four-legged pine wood factory machinist stationary stool with nicely distressed blue paint finish

structurally sound and stable late 1930's vintage american industrial four-legged stationary stool salvaged from an old detroit automotive assembly plant and/or factory complex. the well-built stool contains four slightly flared post legs mounted within the surrounding "box seat." the plain wood stretchers fastened near the base provide added support and stability, along with doubling as a heel or footrest (note the increased wear along the top edges). the rounded edge stationary seat contains a centrally located elongated oval-shaped hole designed as a primitive handle for transporting the stool with greater ease. measures 27 1/2 inches in height. nicely weathered original light blue paint finish left untouched.
